- 10/7/08: HODGES SHOCK: Edible Underwear in Bag Lunch!!! Unconfirmed sources say coworkers are growing more uncomfortable with MAX HODGES' preferred afternoon snack. We're told that several months ago edible underwear made it's first appearance on MAX's bag lunch menu. At first his coworkers thought it was merely a silly joke from the simple minded surfer. However, after several months of the edible undies being a staple in the HODGES diet, people are losing patience. Coworkers of both genders have expressed complaints about his daily lunchtime joke: "I have another pair on me if you're hungry," after which HODGES reportedly laughs uproariously for several minutes. As one source who prefers to remain anonymous suggests, "put a sock in it, Hodges".

- Rhonda Marchione and Laura Ellick are planning on editing a book on the topic of betrayal. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to write a short essay on a betrayal they have experienced. We want to hear not only about the betrayal itself but what you did, how you felt, and how you ultimately handled it. These stories can be about partners/spouses,friends, family or coworkers. It is ok to change names or to use a fake name for yourself. We cannot guarantee that everyone's submission will be published--it will depend on the number and variety that we get. Since we are planning to self-publish the book, we regret that we cannot pay anyone for their submission at this time. However, if at some point, the book does make some money, we will split 30% of the profits among all the authors.
